Higher education is undergoing the most significant transformation in its recent history. The convergence of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and new knowledge economies demands that universities evolve toward models that are more flexible, innovative, and oriented toward social impact.

Against this backdrop, the 4th Ibero-American Convention of Rectors and Educational Leaders has been established. It is conceived as the premier Ibero-American forum for strategic dialogue, capacity building, international cooperation, and the formulation of a shared vision for the future of higher education.

The Convention is primarily supported academically by the Center for University Pedagogies (CPU)—an initiative of the National Open and Distance University (UNAD)—under the auspices of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO-IESALC).
